Skin Glow Privacy Policy

Data Collection

Skin Glow only collects necessary non-sensitive information, including:

• Device identifiers and platform information
• Personal information you voluntarily provide (gender, age, occupation, location, etc., optional)
• Facial photos and makeup application scene parameters you upload
• App errors and crash information (including error types, error messages – non-sensitive information)
• Subscription status, credit balance, and transaction history (for subscription and wallet features)
• Contact email (optional, when you submit feedback)

App Permissions

To provide services, Skin Glow requires the following permissions:

• Photo library permission: To select photos for skincare analysis and makeup analysis
• Camera permission: To take photos for skincare analysis and makeup analysis
• Location permission: To automatically detect your region (optional, you can also enter it manually)
• Notification permission: To remind you to complete your daily skincare plan (optional)

Data Usage

We use the collected data to:

• Perform AI skincare and makeup analysis (to provide AI analysis services, we need to send your photos and related information to Google's Gemini for analysis. This data is used only for analysis purposes and will not be used for other purposes)
• Provide personalized skincare and makeup services
• Optimize user experience
• Analyze and fix app errors

Data Protection

• Your original photos and analysis data are securely stored on your local device
• Supports exporting encrypted data and importing previously exported encrypted data for secure backup and restore
• Analysis data is also stored in iCloud with end-to-end encryption and can be securely synced across all your devices
• Your face data (facial photos used for analysis) is not retained on our servers. Your uploaded photos are relayed to Google's Gemini API only during the request and are not stored after the request completes
• The server stores analysis result text and stores AI-generated preview images in encrypted form so we can deliver the result to you. Once you have received it, the result is saved on your device and in iCloud and the app does not access the server again for that analysis.

• Withdraw consent: You may stop using the skincare and makeup analysis features at any time (i.e. stop starting new skincare or makeup analyses). After you stop, we will not send any new photos to our AI analysis partner (Google Gemini); photos already sent or currently being analyzed cannot be withdrawn.
